My myPT
Think of myPT as a video game replacement for your physical therapy. It’s targeted at those specifically recovering from ACL rehabilitation surgery. The games utilize a completely Natural User Interface made possible by the Microsoft Kinect 3D camera, meaning your body is the controller. Given a set of input, the system will predict the phase and difficulty of your rehab and assign appropriate exercieses based on that prediction.
Bio:Lindsey will be graduating in the spring with a BS in computer science with a concentration in Computer Graphics and Digital Media. She is also a midfielder for GW’s Division I lacrosse team. She got the idea for this project from watching so many of her teammates spend countless hours doing mundane physical therapy exercises.
