‘Brobot’
Joalton Newell

“Brobot: The Library Robot” is a modular, sorting robot composed of a laptop, a VEX robotics kit, and a webcam.

Brobot is notable in that it has the potential to achieve maximum market penetration within
the college and public library demographic. Few products can claim both educational functionality and streamlined operations as features. This is to say, Brobot will throttle the industry – the degree to which it is customizable makes it a perfect fit for a student project at a university, or an actual library assistant in a public facility.
As you well know, there are many libraries and universities in the world. The size of the
library market is not growing, but it is not shrinking either. However, as more and more universities increase their budgeting for special student projects involving robotics, the university market segment is sure to see considerable expansion in the near future.
