Audiopedia

Audiopedia is a program which enables the blind to use Wikipedia solely through voice. The user accesses and navigates the website by speaking voice commands into a microphone and the program then reads articles and navigation options by generating speech. Wikipedia is a community developed online encyclopedia and is currently inaccessible to the blind without the use of expensive and imperfect screen reader programs. Audiopedia will be custom designed to work with Wikipedia, granting the user an unparalleled level of access to its vast database of knowledge.
