EasyRead: an interactive text-simplification system, allows users to transform news articles and other documents from difficult-to-read content into a more approachable form. Designed for early readers and those assisting with their literacy education, EasyRead provides a step-by-step utility to detect and correct “problem areas” in difficult documents.

Bio: Bryan, a senior at GW studying computer science and economics, is passionate about finding ways to use technology in educational settings. Having worked previously at [[http://www.eduware.com/|Eduware]], [[http://www.techchange.org/|TechChange]], and [[http://www.coursera.org/|Coursera]], Bryan has seen the immense potential that edtech companies can offer. After graduating, Bryan plans to join Coursera full-time as a software engineer on the infrastructure team.
