JScour

The goal of JScour is to make it possible for people to gather information about the overall format, types of control structures, and API usage for a specific programming language, over many large projects. In this case, we use Java as our language and a data set of 100 open-source Java projects to do the research. The first step of developing JScour is to create a grammar for a querying language that will be used to search through the projects. JScour will then use this user defined query to look through all of the projects and return statistics about the data set as it pertains to the query.
