MARRC System
Multiple Autonomous Robot Remote Coordination System
The MARRC System depends on several robots responding to their surroundings, both as individuals and as a group. Imagine the robots in the MAARC system as a flock of birds. If the birds encounter an obstacle (say a church spire), some will have to adjust their flight to avoid collision, but the flock as a whole continues moving in the same direction. As such, the MARRC System works to coordinate movements for each robot in the system using inputs from all sensors connected to the system, not just those connected to the individual robot.
